TAKE COVER

This portion of the TACTICAL DEFENSE TRAINING PROGRAM will consist of three individual

classes. During this portion of the program students will receive hands on instruction from certified

instructors to assist in the developing skills needed to utilized cover properly. Standing out in the open

and counting to three is for cowboy movies. In reality utilizing cover and shielding yourself from a

threat is ideal in defensive situations. Students will be taught proven techniques that will decrease the

chance of becoming a victim when utilized properly. Whether you are a concealed carry person, an

open carry person, or strictly home defense person, this course will benefit you. This level will involve

one hand and two hand shooting at a faster pace from a variety of firing positions while utilizing cover.

Students are encouraged to ask the instructors or staff members questions regarding equipment

standards and training they will receive. Instructors will also provide at home and live fire drills that

will further assist the student in achieving their goals of sound self-defense tactics. The way you train

is the way you preform. This program is for experienced shooters. This program will challenge

students mentally and physically. Prerequisite classes such as basic handgun, concealed carry,

personal coaching, or previous courses taught within this program may be required. If you feel that

you already have mastered this skill set and wish to bypass this portion of the program please contact

instructor to set up an evaluation appointment to proceed forward to next level. For your safety and

the safety of others, Instructors and Range Safety Officers reserve the right to evaluate any student

and their equipment who wish to enroll in this program. Any safety violation of any kind will result in

your dismissal from this training program with no refund. Everyone must abide by all safety standards

set forth along with state and federal firearm laws at all times.
